Egodi is an AI budget coach for couples. Two partners connect their financial accounts, set a shared budget, and receive coaching messages by email and SMS. This policy explains what data Egodi collects, how it is used, and the rights every user has. Egodi is currently offered as an invite-only beta.
Solely to operate Egodi for your household: categorizing your transactions, comparing spending to the budget you set, generating your coaching messages, and measuring your own progress against your own history. We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Egodi collects and processes your data only with your express consent, given at signup and when you connect accounts through Plaid Link. In a shared household, each partner consents individually before receiving messages or having their connected accounts included. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting accounts or closing your Egodi account.
Egodi uses a small set of providers strictly to operate: Plaid (bank connectivity), Anthropic (message drafting), Twilio (SMS delivery), Google (email delivery), and GitHub and managed cloud hosting providers (infrastructure). Each processes only the data required to perform its function.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to systems that store or process user data is restricted to authorized Egodi personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication. Egodi maintains a documented information security policy covering access control, secrets handling, incident response, and vendor management.
Your data is retained only while your household is enrolled. On request — or when you close your account — Egodi removes its Plaid connections (revoking access to your financial data at the source), deletes stored financial and derived data, and removes your contact information from delivery systems. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days: support@egodi.app.
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@egodi.app. Where state privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA) apply, you have the rights those laws provide; Egodi does not sell personal information, so no opt-out of sale is needed.
Material changes to this policy will be posted at this page and announced to enrolled users. Questions: support@egodi.app.
